Mycah Kimble, BA
I started with the University in 2008, in the Dept. of Psychiatry, working as a research associate and coordinator. My project was focused on pre-symptomatic individuals with Huntington disease. Beyond research, I loved getting to know the HD population and am honored to have been a part of their lives.
In 2013, I joined the Iowa Institute of Human Genetics. I thought I knew something about genetics before joining this team. I assure you, I did not. Over the last 13 years I have had the privilege of getting to know an impressive array of highly talented and distinguished geneticists, physician scientists, genetic counselors, bench scientists, bioinformaticians, graduate students, prospective graduate students, interns; and interacted with well over 1000 undergraduate students. All of them share common ground with the love of science and the want to help people.
