Research in the 21st Century has transformed to become a big-data driven enterprise requiring high-performance computational resources and sophisticated data analysis expertise.  The IIHG Bioinformatics Division's mission is to provide specialized research collaboration in computational biology to the University of Iowa community, either as grant-supported or fee-for-service work.  We centralize knowledge and expertise in applied bioinformatics into a single point of access in the Carver College of Medicine.
