Run for Your Liver, Run for Your Life 5K

The Run for Your Liver, Run for Your Life 5K in Centennial Park, North Liberty, is more than just a fitness event — it's a community-driven initiative aimed at raising awareness for MASLD (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease). By bringing people together in a vibrant, outdoor setting, the event fosters a sense of unity and shared purpose.

In addition to promoting physical activity through the race itself, the event features educational tents focused on nutrition, exercise, and behavioral health. These resources empower attendees with practical knowledge and tools to make healthier lifestyle choices, which are crucial in preventing and managing MASLD. By addressing key aspects of wellness, the event supports long-term community health and encourages proactive engagement with personal well-being.
